My local dealership has a Ram 1500 Express Quad cab, 4x4, hemi v8 5.7l, MSRP just over $41000, on sale for $29124.

That’s about all I want from a pickup. But, my target price is $27000. Another $2000 discount. What are the chances at a high volume Ram dealership that works more on volume than anything?

Nice pair of ARs for your time :)

Well, they’re gonna tack about $6,000 worth of additional rebates that you don’t qualify to that price.

So, maybe $33,000?

I don’t know about that - not a single mention of it in the ad, and I am pretty sure they must have that in the fine print. It seems like a straight 30% off. What I am guessing is that they have one only at this price.

Last time I looked at a Ram truck, they had a loss leader deal on one with a V6 but the monthly price was amazing and exactly as they amthey had in the ad.

It’s never a straight 30% off. They usually apply every single rebate on this planet.

Check that fine print. It may say something like “price with all rebates and incentives applied”.

High volume and end of the month may work in your favor.

I wish you luck, but in my experience with ads like this ... don’t hold your breath.

We sold that truck at that price yesterday. That’s what they’ll say.

Quite likely, or like my local Chevy dealer, that price includes a bunch of rebates he won’t qualify for. Only somebody who is an Alaskan Native military veteran whose mother was Swedis, is a Farm Bureau member and is named Eddie can get it for that price.

No fine print in the ad. Ram is advertising huge discounts on their website. They live off of rebates and deals. Even Chevy has $12000 discount on select models. I have a feeling let comments are not experience based, just presuming that there are no deals to be had.

I actually had a great experience with these. Obviously, the ones where they ask for a billion rebates don’t work for anyone. But, my friends were able to get a Hyundai Accent when they were looking and they got the advertised price, and I was sort of able to get he loss leader lease price on a Ram 1500 but I didn’t buy it, and I got better than advertised at Heuberger Subaru - from another dealership beating their price.
